The short version

SellMate suggests replies. You read them, you choose one, and you decide whether to send it. It is free while we are testing, we might change or stop it, and what you send to your customers is your responsibility.

Using SellMate means you accept the rest of this page.

What SellMate does

You paste a message a customer sent you. SellMate sends it to an AI, which writes three suggested replies, and shows them to you.

It does not send anything for you, it is not connected to your accounts, and it cannot see your messages unless you paste them in yourself.

It is free while we test

There is no charge, no card and no account. We limit how many sets of replies each person can get, so one visitor cannot use up the tool for everyone.

SellMate will cost money later. If you join the waitlist we will email you before that happens. We will never start charging you without asking first, because we hold no payment details.

Using it fairly

Please do not use SellMate to:

• do anything illegal, or help anyone else do anything illegal
• write messages that mislead, threaten, harass or scam somebody
• pretend to be a person or business you are not
• get around the usage limits, or attack, copy or overload the service

SellMate is built for sales conversations, so it will decline anything else. If it is used unfairly we can block access without warning.

You need to be at least 13 years old to use SellMate.

You decide what you send

The replies are suggestions written by an AI. They can be wrong, clumsy, or a poor fit for your customer. Read every reply before you send it, and change anything that is not right.

Once you send a message it is yours, not ours. You are responsible for what it says, for anything you promise in it, and for following the rules of whichever app you sent it in.

We do not promise SellMate will win you sales or make you money. It is a writing aid, not a guarantee.

Your information

What you paste in is sent to the AI and then thrown away. We store your email address only if you give it to us for the waitlist. The full detail is on the privacy page.

We may change or stop it

SellMate is new and still being tested. We can change how it works, change these terms, pause it, or switch it off completely, at any time. If we change something important we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.

If something goes wrong

SellMate is offered as it is. We cannot promise it will always be available, or that a reply will always be sensible.

We are not liable for business losses, such as lost sales, lost profit or lost goodwill, arising from your use of a free tool. Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit. If you use SellMate as a consumer rather than for business, your legal rights are unaffected.

Who runs SellMate

SellMate is operated by Operations Director Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15585898, based in Cambridge. Questions, complaints, or a request to delete your email address all go to hello@sell-mate.co.uk.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
